Moshe and his shoes

Posted by Scholar

During the whole story of Moshe and the burning bush, G-d turns to Moshe and requests that he takes off his shoes. One of the reasons for this seemingly weird instruction was that when a person walks barefoot, he feels even the slightest debris. Since Hashem was preparing Moshe for eventual leadership, He wanted him to learn to be sensitive to even the slightest details.
